Anderson University Summer Camp (First announced on May 21st, 2012)
The Anderson University 2012 Summer Camp scheduled for July 17, 18 and 19th is aimed at high school juniors/seniors who are planning to pursue a college degree, but don't yet know what career is right for them. Through the camp, students will discover how their interests, personalities, and values translate into career options. They can then find which colleges and universities provide the best courses of study to reach their career goals. For more information, please stop by the Guidance Office.

AP European History meeting (First announced on May 21st, 2012)
This ia reminder to all students who are signed up to take AP European History next year. There is a mandatory meeting that all students must attend. The meetings are on Tues., May 22nd after school in Mr. Follis' room A333 orthe next morning wed. May the 23rd at 6:50 in A333.

AP World History meeting (First announced on May 21st, 2012)
This is a reminder to all students who are signed up to take AP World History next year: there is a mandatory meeting that all students must attend. The meetings are on Wed., May 23rd, at 7:00 p.m. in the evening in the Lecture Hall or the next morning May the 24th at 6:30 a.m. in the Lecture Hall.

Award Pick-up (First announced on May 21st, 2012)
Students! Any student who was notified that they received an award but did not attend the underclassmen awards ceremony or the senior awards ceremony, must stop by Guidance as soon as possible to pick up their award.

Miss Circle City Classic Coronation (First announced on May 7th, 2012)
The Miss Circle City Classic Coronation is one of the many events leading up to the annual Circle City Classic Football Game. This event recognizes the accomplishments of outstanding young women in the African American community. To participate, you must be a senior with at least a "C". Keep in mind, the Coronation is not a beauty contest!! For additional application requirements, stop by Guidance. Application deadline is June 4th.

Senior Exam Exemptions (First announced on May 16th, 2012)
Attention Seniors!!! Are you eligible to exempt any of your final exams??? If so, Exemption forms will be available in the Main Office, beginning Wednesday, May 16th. The forms are due to the main office by Tuesday, May 22nd at 3:45PM. If you have any questions regarding your exemption status, please ask your teacher or stop at the attendance office!

Seniors! If you haven't yet done the short Senior Exit Survey on Naviance, please come to the Guidance office for instructions on completing it as soon as possible!

Baseball (First announced on May 22nd, 2012)
The varsity baseball team finished the regular season last with a 4-1 win at Lawrence North. Evan Rice, Brendan Burns, and Taylor Hackett all pitched well with Burns earning the win and Hackett earning the save. The defense was exceptional again, highlighted by a double play by left fielder Chris Irwin. The Royals now focus on Sectional play at Noblesville on Friday at 5:30 against Zionsville.

Cross Country Call Out (First announced on May 18th, 2012)
Anyone interested in being a member of the Cross Country team next season should attend the call out meeting Wednesday Morning in the cafeteria at 7:00am.

Football physicals need turned in to ADs (First announced on May 21st, 2012)
Reminder to all football players- everyone needs to have a physical turned into athletics before they can do anything with the team this summer- time is running out get this done- Coach May

Lady Royals Win Round 1 of Sectional Play Beating Westfield (First announced on May 22nd, 2012)
The Lady Royals Varsity Softball Team beat Westfield in the first round of Sectional play 10 – 2. The Lady Royals had 7 extra base hits in the win. Alyssa Buchanan was 4 for 4 with 3 RBI’s. Amanda Banitt was 3 for 4 with a double and 1 RBI. Roni Patterson was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles and Bailey Rager was 2 for 4 with a double, a triple and 2 RBI’s. Amanda Wintrow had a long Home Run with 2 RBI’s and pitched the complete game with 14 strike-outs. The Lady Royal advance to the Sectional Semi Final Game as they take on the Millers from Noblesville on Wednesday, May 23 starting at 5:00 pm at Cherry Tree Softball Complex in Carmel.

German Club Officers For 2012 (First announced on May 22nd, 2012)
Frau Mathews would like to thank all of the out going officers of German Club for their hard work this year. German Club officers for this year were: President Megan Conrad, Vice President - Nandhini Suresh, Secretary - Anna Kim, Treasurer Colin Conrad and Historian Dallas Pereira. Congratulations to our new German Club officers for this year: President - Matt Coyle, Vice President - Adrienne Powell, Secretary - Maddy Bray, Historian - Aubrie Keith and Treasurer - Damion Grey. Looking forward to an exciting German club for 2012-13.

FFA summer event sign-ups are in room A528. Make sure you sign up. These events include, National Plow Day, Fishing Tournaments, State Fair, County Fair, Summer Challenge and more.

Thespian elections (First announced on May 21st, 2012)
Thespians: any thespian wanting to run for an office for next year, needs to see Miss Armstrong by Wednesday. There will be a thespian meeting on Friday morning to elect officers for next year.

Senior thespians: if you want honor cords you need to pay $7.00 to Miss Armstrong by next Tuesday.

Medications in Clinic (First announced on May 22nd, 2012)
All medications in the clinic must be picked up by 3:00pm on Thursday, May 30th or the medications will be destroyed. Students who have had medications in the clinic this year, please remember to do this!

Yearbook Distribution (First announced on May 16th, 2012)
Yearbook Distribution will begin Wednesday, May 23 after school outside the Leonard Auditorium from 2:55 to 4 p.m. Students will need a photo ID to pick up their books. Didn't order one? Books will be available for $65 (cash only) at distribution. Books will also be distributed during lunches Thursday, May 24 in the Leonard Auditorium lobby. Books will be available Friday, May 25 after school in A322.
