AP European History meeting (First announced on May 21st, 2013)
All students signed up for AP European History next year are reminded of the mandatory meeting today after school in Mr. Follis' room.

AP US History meeting (First announced on May 20th, 2013)
There will be a meeting for all students enrolled in AP US History for next year. Please attend on Thursday, May 23, at 3pm or Friday, May 24 at 7am. Both meetings will be in the Lecture Hall. See Mr. Steckler in room A307 if you cannot attend.

Females exploring technoloy summer camps (First announced on April 25th, 2013)
Undecided about what you want to do after high school? Vincennes University is offering a Summer Camp focusing on challenging high school females to think outside the box by introducing them to traditionally male-oriented fields of work in technology with hands-on workshops and field trips. This summer exploration is free and is offered 2 times in June. To find out more information stop by Guidance for an informational flier.

FFA Summer Plans (First announced on May 16th, 2013)
FFA members: see Mr Younts or Mr Bailey for permission and registration forms for Summer Challenge, State Convention, and State Fair. These forms are due before the end of the school year. Prepare for a hot FFA Summer.

Final Exam Exemptions for Seniors (First announced on May 20th, 2013)
Exemption forms for senior final exam exemptions will be available in the front office starting Monday, May 20th. The eligibility list for exemptions will only be available on the school Intranet for staff viewing so you MUST see the Attendance secretaries or a teacher to verify your eligibility to exempt. Completed forms will be due to the front office at 3:00pm on Thursday, May 23rd, no exceptions.

Indiana Private College Week 2013 (First announced on May 21st, 2013)

SAT Preparation (First announced on May 9th, 2013)
Are you trying to prepare for the upcoming SAT or ACT? Did you know that there is a free preparation program that all HSE students have access to? Just get your Naviance account number through guidance, log on and go to the PREP ME tab. There is no cost and the program puts together a guided course for the timeline that you are working with.

Student Survey (First announced on May 21st, 2013)
Students - please take some time to complete an anonymous Student Feedback Survey for 2012-13 in the Voting course on the Lessons Tab. We really want to hear from you! This survey will allow you to provide feedback on your coursework and your overall feelings about the school. The survey will be open until June 10, 2013. The survey should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Thank you!

Boys Track Banquet (First announced on May 20th, 2013)
A reminder to all Boys Track team members; the team banquet is this Wednesday in the cafeteria at 6:00PM.

JV Baseball (First announced on May 21st, 2013)
The JV baseball team ended their season in thrilling fashion with a 9-8 extra innings win over Lawrence North. Jack Spencer and Tanner Sizemore threw great in relief. The Royals had to score two runs in the bottom of the 7th to force extras. After giving up a run in the top of the 8th inning, the Royals won on a walk off squeeze bunt by David Herrmann in the bottom of the 8th. The Royals finished their season with a 16-9 record.

The Film Club will be holding their annual trivia contest in Mr. Follis' room after school on Wednesday, May 22nd.

Final NHS meeting of the year (First announced on May 21st, 2013)
The final National Honor Society meeting of the year will be tomorrow at 7:10. They will meet at 7:10 in the cafeteria.

German Club Elections this week! (First announced on May 20th, 2013)
German club members. Check the class room for your officer candidate Biographies. Then go to Frau Mathews room A506 for your ballot. Voting is open through our last Club meeting this Thursday. We'll meet in the Royal Den for Pizza and to watch our club video. See you there.

Tonight is the last Hot Box night of the year for the Mock Trial Team. Dine in, carry out, or request delivery. Tell them that you want your order to benefit the HSE Mock Trial Team! Yum!

Thespian elections (First announced on May 20th, 2013)
Thespians: Any thespian wanting to run for an office for next year, needs to sign up with Miss Armstrong by Wednesday. There will be a thespian meeting this Thursday at 7:00am to elect officers.

Medications in Clinic (First announced on May 20th, 2013)
Students if you have medications in the clinic don't forget to stop by and pick up your medication before the end of the day on May 3o th or the medication will be waisted. Remember you are not allowed to carry a medication with you so it does need to be picked up at the end of the day. Thanks so much Have a great summer!

Yearbook Distribution (First announced on May 15th, 2013)
Yearbook distribution will take place Wednesday, May 22 at both campuses. Students must have a photo ID to pick up their books. Freshman Center: we will distribute books during school lunches. There will be a limited number of books for sale. Those books will be $65 (cash only) and carry and we are not reserving them. Main Campus: Distribution will take place Wednesday, May 22 after school outside Leonard Auditorium. There will be a limited number of books for sale. Those books will be $65 (cash only) and carry and we are not reserving them. Distribution will continue during lunches outside the Leonard Auditorium Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24.
