October 11 Schedule for PSAT/Pre-ACT

On October 11, students in 10th and 11th grade will take the PSAT. This test is a practice test for the SAT college entrance exam and it serves as the National Merit Qualifying Test. Students in 9th grade will take the Pre-ACT. Testing will begin at 7:35 a.m. and conclude at 11:26 a.m. Students will report to lunch or 4th period after testing.

While underclassmen are testing, seniors will spend the morning working on college readiness activities at a location of their choosing. The activities will be sent to your student''s email. The information will be placed on Canvas in a class named "FHS Seniors-Class of 2018". This course will be available on Oct. 11. Students will work on a resume, scholarship searching, and work through  a career choice activity.

Seniors should plan to arrive at school by 11:15 a.m. and report to the CCA learning commons. For students not able to arrange for a later ride to school, they may come on the bus and report to the CCA cafe at 7:35 a.m., where they will complete the assigned activities. Please contact Linda Brown with any questions at FHS 317-915-4290 extension #7792.
