Jarrett Carrico-Habel
Varsity Head Coach

Coach Habel grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. He began playing volleyball at Indianapolis Cathedral High School where he served as both a Libero and Outside Hitter for the Irish. While at Cathedral, Coach Habel won two State Championships and was named to the All-State team twice. He then went on to Purdue University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Selling and Sales Management with an Associate’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision. While attending Purdue University, Jarrett seized the opportunity to manage the Women’s NCAA Volleyball Team under Coach Dave Shondell. During his five seasons with the Boilers he was a part of four NCAA Tournament qualifying teams including two who reached the Sweet Sixteen. Jarrett was also a member of the Purdue University Camp coaching staff each of those years. After college, Jarrett accepted a coaching position at Fishers High School where he has served as the Varsity Assistant for the Tigers for the last three seasons. In this past season, the Tigers amassed a final record of 30-5 on their way to a tie for 1st in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference standings, and an IHSAA Sectional and Regional championship in 4A. Jarrett started coaching club at the Fishers Cubs Volleyball Club where he coached the 14-1’s for a season. He then joined the Indy Juniors Volleyball Club staff where over the past few seasons he has been on the coaching staff of the 15-1’s, 16-1’s, and 18-2’s. Personal: Coach Habel currently works at Fishers High School, where on top of coaching; he serves as an Instructional Assistant in the Special Education Department. He recently bought a house in Fishers, and is engaged to be married in November of 2011.

Jamie Andrews
Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Jamie Andrews has been playing volleyball since 7th grade. She played on her first club team in 8th grade, playing for Tri-County out of Cincinnati. Throughout her career she has had several accomplishments a couple of them include: placing 3rd at Nationals my senior year of club, being conference champs, and being named to the All-Conference Team my senior year.
Coach Andrews graduated from Ball State University in 2001 with her undergrad in Physical Education and in 2009 with her Masters in Education Administration. She is a Physical Education teacher at Greenfield-Central High School and was their Varsity Volleyball coach for 5 years. She was name the All-East Coach of the Year by the Indy Star in 2008, developed the Ace out Cancer themed County Tournament, and has had numerous players move on to play at the collegiate level. For the past two seasons she has served as the Scouting Coordinator here at Fishers High School.

Ed Roze
Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Ed Roze’s played volleyball in college as an outside hitter for George Williams College. He was captain of the team in 1984 and 1985. He participated in the Prairie State Games from 1982-1986. He was named All MIVA (Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association) in 1984 and made Volleyball Monthly All-American Honorable mention in 1984 and 1985. Coach Roze began his coaching career as an assistant to Bob Gambardella for the George Williams College sponsored Girl’s Junior Olympic team in 1985. Ed is the Junior Varsity Head Coach for the Fishers High School Girl’s volleyball team, leading them to the best record in the conference in the 2008 season. Coach Roze has served as the Junior Varsity coach here at Fishers for the past three seasons. He also has coached at the Fishers Cubs Volleyball Club since its inception. His personal life focuses around his wife Irisa, and their son Martis (13) and daughter Krista (11).

Michael Farrell
Junior Varsity Coach

This is Coach Farrell's first year at Fishers High School and 11th year coaching overall. Before coaching at Fishers, he has spent the last 5 years coaching at Bishop Chatard High School as the Head Freshman (4 Years) and Assistant Varsity Coach (5 Years). Before Chatard he spent one year as the Head Freshman and Assistant Varsity Coach at North Central High School. Coach Farrell has also coached Cadet CYO teams at St. Luke and St. Pius as well as 7th grade volleyball at Tri North Middle School in Bloomington, IN. He also spent one year coaching Cross-country at Cathedral. Coach Farrell also coaches 15U at Team Indiana Volleyball. Some memorable moments during his coaching career are winning the City Titles in 2008 and 2009 for Freshman volleyball, as well as a Cadet C City tournament title in 2000. Coach Farrell is also a licensed IHSAA High School Volleyball official. Coach Farrell graduated from Cathedral High School ('00) where he was a 3 sport athlete for 4 years in cross country, swimming, track, and volleyball. He attended Indiana University - Bloomington ('04), and has a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Kelley School of Business. He now works for Gibraltar Remembrance Services, LLC as the corporate Accounting Manager.

Lisa Wright
Freshmen Coach
Coach Lisa Wright began playing volleyball for Union City Community High School in Union City, IN. She started as an Outside Hitter and became a Defensive Specialist her junior and senior years. Throughout high school, she played club for Jay-Randolph Club as a Defensive Specialist. She lettered in volleyball 3 of her 4 years playing. After graduating she attended Ball State and played intramural volleyball. She continued after college by playing sand volleyball in Indianapolis leagues and women’s league in Seymour, IN.
From 2004-2006, Coach Wright was the head coach of the 8th grade girl’s volleyball team in Seymour, IN, which led to a winning season and Tri-County Championship 2 years in a row. She also coached for Girls Inc. Volleyball Club in Seymour from 2005-2006, coaching 16-2’s. After moving to Fishers, Lisa was the Head Coach for a 15-3’s team and then assisted the 15-2’s team at a local club in the area. In 2008, she was the Head Coach of the 8th grade girl’s volleyball team at Riverside School. She continued her experience as she was promoted to Freshman Head Coach at Fishers High School in 2009. She is currently also coaching the 15-1's team for the Fishers Cubs Volleyball Club.
