Mission Statement
Hamilton Southeastern Junior High is very proud to be named a 2004 Blue Ribbon School by the US Department of Education, an honor given to only 30 junior highs. As our mission statement indicates, we strive for educational excellence.
The Hamilton Southeastern Junior High, in partnership with the community, strives for educational excellence by providing experiences which challenge students to become effective decision-makers, problem-solvers, and communicators.
A Brief Overview
Hamilton Southeastern Junior High is located on Cyntheanne Road in southeastern Hamilton County just north of Indianapolis. School colors are blue and white, and our school mascot is "Panthers."
Enrollment: Hamilton Southeastern Junior High School is comprised of students in grades seven and eight. Rapid growth in student population continues to be a trend in the Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation.
People: The essence of any school is, of course, the people who give it life. The faculty, staff, and administration have made a commitment of high expectations for both themselves and for their students. This ideal added to the fact that the students who attend Hamilton Southeastern consistently score well above the state and national averages on standardized tests combine to form an enthusiastic learning atmosphere. School spirit, high performance expectations, a past history of significant student achievement, combined with strong parental support for education make HSJH a school where excellence is more than a slogan.
