HHS Girls Varsity Soccer Event: Noblesville

Environment and action on the field was incredible all night and the best soccer conference in the state lived up to the bill as HSE battled Noblesville for the girls soccer HCC championship. HSE and Noblesville were pretty even all night with both teams getting chances but the GK or Defenders snatching up everything for both teams. With 10 minutes to play the fog rolled in and play stopped for 8 minutes. We were able to resume under safe conditions and finish the heated contest. With 2 minutes left Sammy Groves for HSE sent in a long cross that Brooke Barnes settled and quickly got off the shot in the box for the game winner! Player of the game without question goes to Jasmine Smith for 3 HUGE saves to keep the shutout as she had 5 saves on 5 dangerous shots tonight. What a great victory for the girls and the school, and congratulations for the 3rd consecutive Conference Championship!
