HSE def Lafayette Jeff
The Lady Royals Tennis team improved their record to 11-2 with a 5-0 victory over Lafayette Jeff. on Saturday. The Team had strong showings at every position winning in straight sets. "It was good to see the team get the win after a tough loss earlier in the week. Especially nice to see Shereen Farahani get here second victory on varsity." Coach Willingham. The Junior Varsity contiued to remain undefeated with an 11-0 vicory over Jeff. The Ladies next travel to Carmel on Wednesday! Good Luck Royals!

HSE def Westfield
The Royals girls tennis team improved their record to 9-1 with a strong showing versus conference foe Westfield on Thursday winning 5-0. " It was realy windy and the team really showed some good patience while playing in the elements." said Coach Willingham. The Junior Varsity Royals tennis team remainded undefeated with an 18-0 win on thursday. The Royals next play Mt. Vernon on Friday. Good Luck Royals

HSE defeats Avon
The Hamilton Southeastern Royal Tennis team raised their record to 8-1 with 4-1 win over Avon. On an incredibly windy day, the Lady netters were able to pull out the victory. "Battling and opponet and the elemnts at the same time can be quite Challenging. The Ladies did a great job. Kristie and Kelli both went out there and gave strong showings. Kristie remains undefeated in her senior year and show no signs of stopping." said Coach Willingham. The Lady Royals next play Westfield on Thursday. Good Luck Royals!!!!

The 2012 HSE Summer camp registrations are now open. The information is on the HSE website under summer camps. HSE Summer Tennis is on pges 34/35 of the camp brochure. The HSE Summer Tennis includes both the Jr. Tennis Program for all ages as well the HSE 2012 TEAM TENNIS program.

Lady Royals defeat two more Conference foes!
The Hamilton Southeastern added two more victories on Saturday to raise their record 7-1. Using a new line-up and several new faces, the Lady Royals defeated conference foes McCutcheon 5-0 and Harrison 5-0. "It was good to get the matches in even though it was not ideal conditions, very cold" said Coach Willingham. Stepping up to play #1 singles for the first time, Kelly Iden improved her unbeaten record to 8-0 winning in impressive fashion in both of her matches. "Kelli is looking really strong right now and continues to improve with every match!" added Coach Willingham. Senior Taylor Grayson also had impressive wins at #2 singles playing that position for the first time. Freshman Kelsey Chalamar and Sophmore Kelsey Hay won at #2 doubles along with Freshman Nicole Spafford #3 singles made thier varsity debut with victories as well. The Junior Varsity has continued their undefeated season with two more wins as well raising their record to 8-0. The Royals next play at Avon on Monday. Good Luck Royals!!!

HSE Def Brownsburg
The Hamilton Southeastern Ladies Tennis Team raised their record to 5-1 with a win over Brownsburg on Thursday. The top two singles players started off the victory in dominating fashion winning in easy straight sets. Kristie Hsu was especially strong at #1 singles winning while not dropping a singles game. "It was nice to see the top two singles players really giving great performances." said Coach Willingham. The Match of the day came at #3 singles, Maddy Ochs showed great heart winning a tight 3 set match that took almost four hours to complete!

HSE defeats Noblesville
The #8 ranked Lady Royals extended their record to 4-1 with a hard fought win over Noblesville on Wednesday winning 4-1. The Lady Royals won the top two singles matches in straight sets with #1 singles player Kristie Hsu remaining undefeated for the season. The Royals won both the doubles positions in close matches. The #2 doubles team really fought hard winning a third set tie break for the final point of the match. "Maddi Alton and Mackensie Nicol made a great come back being down in the third set but fought hard to get the win!" said Coach Willingham. "They never stopped fighting and kept their heads in the match." The Lady Royals JV team had another strong showing remaining undefeated for the season. The Lady Royals next play Brownburg on Thursday. Good Luck Royals!

The # 8 Hamilton Southeastern Girls Tennis Team defeated North Central 3-2 on Monday. The Lady Royals won both doubles positions and the #1 singles spot to improve their record to 3-1. "The doubles really stepped it up today and gave the team the win. Taylor Grayson and Mallory Noble(#1doubles) really looked strong, while Maddi Alton and Makenzie Nichol (#2doubles) really showed a lot of heart winning in a three set close match." said Coach Willingham. Kristie Hsu remained undefeated at #1 singles with another victory. The Royals next play Nobles ville on Tuesday. Good Luck Royals!

HSE Tough Loss to Cathedral
The #8th ranked HSE Lady Royals tennis team lost their first contest of the year to #6th ranked team form Cathedral 3-2. The match came down to #3 singles where Senior Taylor Grayson fought valiantly but came up just a bit short in a three set match. "She fought hard and gave HSE a chance at the end which all you can ask for in a player." Said Coach Willingham. #1 Singles player Kristie Hsu and #2 singles player Kelli Iden were the two victories on the day, both remaining undefeated for the season. The #8th ranked Hamilton Southeastern Girls Tennis team garnered their 2nd victory in a row to start the season defeating the #13 ranked Zionsville Eagles 3-2 Wednesday. "Our Singles players really stepped up today garning all three of the points for the victory." said Coach Willingham. Kristie Hsu avenged one of her losses from last year defeating her opponent in two close sets. Kelli Iden had an impressive win while Taylor Grayson had a great come back to earn her second victory in as many matches. The Lady Royals next play Cathedral on Friday.. Go Royals

HSE defeats Lawrence North
The #8 ranked Hamilton Southeastern Lady Netters began there 2012 season with a victory Tuesday defeating Lawrence North 5-0. The Lady Royals had dominating performances at 1st and 2nd singles by the two top returning varsity singles players from the 2011 season Kristie Hsu(1singles) and Kelly Iden(2 singles). Both Kristie and Kelli won with out dropping a single game respectively. Senior Taylor Grayson also had a nice singles victory at #3 singles winning in two sets. Seniors Maddi Alton and Sarah Majestic made their varsity debut by winning the #2 doubles position in a strong showing. The final point came at #1 doubles in a hard fought, three set win, by Senior Claier Runde and Junior Mallory Noble. The Ladies next match is against Zionsville, Wednesday 4:30, at Zionsville.
