About Fishers Junior High

Fishers Junior High School is located in the heart of Hamilton County, named by Forbes, Business Week and Money magazines as one of the top places to live in the U.S. for the outstanding quality of life residents have come to appreciate.  The town of Fishers continues to grow by leaps and bounds as does the Hamilton Southeastern school district.  Fishers Junior High, an Indiana 4-Star school, is comprised of seventh and eighth grade students who matriculate to both Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School.  We are “The Chargers” and our school colors are red, black and white.

Our Facilities

Fishers Junior High School opened its doors over a decade ago and continues to update and maintain a first class facility able to accommodate students of all needs and abilities.  Our state-of-the art media center is the centerpiece of our building housing over 14,000 titles in addition to offering students a chance to learn through technology.  The Large Group Instruction (or LGI) room accommodates class or team projects and the stage located within the room acts as the venue for school-wide performances.  Other features of FJH include:  computer, family/consumer science and technology education labs; vocal and instrumental music rooms; an athletic wing with main and auxiliary gyms, fitness center and concession area and spacious art and science rooms which house equipment and materials needed for student success.
