FHS Speech Coach Rund earns 3rd degree diamond award

Fishers High School’s Speech Coach Matt Rund was recently recognized for earning his 3rd degree diamond award from the National Forensic League. The speech and debate honor society uses Diamond Awards to recognize professionals’ careers that combine excellence and longevity. It provides diamond awards based on coach points received. Points result from the number of students coached and those students’ achievements. Coaches initially earn a pin and then more diamonds for certain levels of achievement. On June 14, 2012, coaches will receive special recognition at the Lincoln Financial Group/NFL National Speech and Debate Tournament in Indianapolis.
