Our Mission is to efficiently provide nutritionally balanced meals according to the
National School Lunch Program guidelines, at a reasonable cost to the students
and staff of HSE, while promoting nutrition as a vital part of the educational
process. Student nutrition is an important piece of the educational process, and
healthy eating is part of the daily curriculum at HSE. The Hamilton Southeastern
Food Service Department strives to serve nutritious, appetizing meals that
comply with the USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans. School lunches must
provide age/grade appropriate calorie levels and 1/3 of the recommended dietary
allowances for protein, calcium, iron, vitamin A, and vitamin C, as well as meet
guidelines for total fat and saturated fat.
ONLINE VIEWING AND PAYMENT OPTIONS VIA SKYWARD AND EFUNDS
Hamilton SE Schools has made the transition to Skyward's Food Service Module. This change will allow parents to view current and up to date Food Service information for their students. Parents may now log into Family Access and view their student's current food service balance, daily café purchases, and payment history by clicking on the Food Service link within Family Access.
You can access the eFunds website by logging on to Family access and clicking on the eFunds link under “District Links”. You can also access it from here by going to:

To make a payment, you will need to set up your username, password and add students to your account. This requires your student’s ID number and your checking account or credit card information. Once your account is set up, you can deposit funds into your child’s lunch account or pay textbook rental fees.
Transaction Fees: Payments made from a checking account - $1. Payments using a credit card - $1.95.
A transaction fee is only charged once per "check-out" even if it includes payments for several students. For example, making a deposit for three students at one time with a credit card will result in only one $1.95 transaction fee.
Lunch payments made before 9:30 a.m. will be posted in Skyward the same business day. Lunch payments made after 9:30 a.m. will be posted in Skyward the following business day.
You may still send cash or a check to school for your child’s lunch account or to pay textbook rental fees.
You can now sign up to receive Food Service low balance email
notification when the balance falls below ten ($10) dollars. To signup,
select E-mail Notifications at the left of your screen, then select to have an
e-mail notification sent to you once your child/children’s lunch account balance
falls below $10. Please verify your e-mail address is correct in our system.
Also, please don’t rely solely on e-mail notifications because Individual
circumstances (system settings, SPAM blockers, etc.) may prevent or delay the
lunch account low balance alerts. Please check your Food Service lunch account
balance regularly. If you have any questions, please contact the Food Service

Lunch Menu Information
HSE's lunch menus are offered on a recurring
four-week schedule. The high school also offers
daily specials in all other serving areas. A
master menu is distributed to all students at
the beginning of the year. Complete menus are
listed below along with a la carte items, or
you can click here to view what's

NOTICE - Elementary Menu Printing Error: There
has been a printing error made on the Elementary
lunch menus regarding the calendar. The lunch
items on the menu are correct. We have placed
an accurate copy of the Elementary menu with
the corrected calendar on the food services website.
All Elementary menu information on the Hamilton
Southeastern Schools and Food Services websites
is correct. Please contact the Nutrition & Food

Students may pay for lunch as it is purchased each day or can take advantage of
our debit-card system. All buildings use a debit-card system, and students may
deposit any amount of money into an account on any day. There is a prepayment
form that can be used when sending lunch money.
Account balances remaining at the end of the school year will stay in the
student's account and will be available for use the next year. Since the
accounts are based on student ID numbers, account balances follow the student
from grade to grade and school to school. Free and reduced lunch applications
are available in all buildings and the Administration Office.
