The AP program allows students to pursue college-level courses while still in high school. Fishers High School and Hamilton Southeastern High School offer AP courses in 24 subjects. By taking AP courses students may gain an edge in college preparation, stand out in the college admission process and broaden their intellectual horizons. Most of the nation’s colleges and universities and institutions in 28 countries, have an AP policy granting incoming students credit, placement, or both for qualifying AP exam grades.
